Wechat’s gaining popularity helped Tencent took a head start in the combat with Alibaba, the leader of the Internet payment. What’s behind this was shrinking traditional customs: fireworks were no longer welcomed by the people. Instead, there needs a new custom to fill the blank. Grabbing red envelopes on line attracted thousands of people to join in by its fast, brand-new, and thrilling way to entertain. Sadly, what young people who traveled a long distance to go back home did during the Festival was not to communicate with the elders but to hold their cellphones all day long , just in order to grab red envelopes and get some money. Spring Festival is the most important and popular festival in China.Before Spring Festival ,the people usually clean and decorate their houses. And they go to the Flower Fairs to buy some flowers.During Spring Festival ,the adults usually give lucky money to children.People often get together and have a big meal. Some people eat dumpling for dinner.
