dear teachers and classmates:
good morning!
i’m xx, come from class 10 grade 7. today my classmate xx and i will give this speech under the flag. and our topic is: mourning the martyrs, struggling for the future, achieving the dreams.
in early march, spring is here again and everything comes to life. holding the feeling of respect, passing through the avenue planting both of cedars and cypresses, standing in front of the lofty revolutionary martyr’s monument, we mourn the heroes from the bottom of our heart, for those who gave their lives for the nation might live.
as long as you have ideals and faith, have the devotion to country and people, you will no longer fear life and death. this is the spirit of the chinese nation! this is the integrity of chinese descendants.
blue sky and white cloud, the mountain is green faraway. there are many heroic epic scenes reflecting in our mind. that is the unyielding spirit of martyrs who pursued for truth. that is the roar while the country was in peril. and that is the bloody battle for establishing the new country.
they use the flesh and blood body building the monument; they are the heroes in our heart, forever!
the former gunpowder smoke has cleared. there are beautiful flowers and green grass in the battlefield, everywhere. it is rather for us to be here dedicated to the spirit remaining before us. it is our responsibility!
the young is wisdom, the country is wisdom! the young is strong, the country is strong! we should do the task remaining before us.
inheriting the lofty spirit of martyrs, setting up the correct values and outlook on life, study hard, serve the country!
inheriting the struggle spirit of martyrs, facing trouble, dare to compete, never say die!
we promise, our passion, sweat and wisdom will be dedicated to our great motherland, let’s struggle together to achieve our great chinese dream!
