　　Abstract: Objective: According to refined technology research, the preparation process and quality standards of Jingfukang capsule are determined. Methods: The essential oils extracted from ligusticum wallichii, rhizoma atractylodis, notopterygium root, frankincense and myrrh were first investigated with orthogonal test. Then, golden cypress, root of common peony, astragalus mongholicus, root of red-rooted salvia, and ligusticum wallichii were identified with thin-layer chromatography (TLC); packing volumes difference, disintegration time limit and water and microbial limits of capsules were tested with the capsule testing methods in the appendix of Chinese Pharmacopoeia; the puerarin contents in the root of kudzu vine was tested with liquid chromatography (LC). Results: The optimal process for Jingfukang capsule was determined in this preparation process study. In identification, the spots at thin layers were clear, and good in repeatability; the test results accorded with the standards of the Pharmacopoeia, and the average recovery gained from content test was 98.95% (n = 6; RSD = 1.53%). Conclusion: The methods and indexes used in this test are applicable to the preparation process of Jingfukang capsule. The method of this quality standard is simple and accurate, and can be applied in the quality control of ingfukang capsule.
