　　（School of Law, Huaihai Institute of Technology,Lianyungang 222005, China）　　Abstract: In Marcuse""s theory of modern utopia revolution, the realizations of the social freedom, the emancipation of human""s minds and the return of human""s nature are advocated for human""s ideas and revolutionary consciousness. Marcuse""s theory inherited the essences of multiple great thinkers such as Marx, Lukacs, Freud and Adorno. Meanwhile, things of diverse nature were incorporated in Marcuse""s theory. However, Marcuse""s theory is different from the theories of the above mentioned thinkers. In this paper, Marcuse""s theory as well as the origins and developments between the inherited theories by it was discussed, for the purpose of straightening out the idea of this paper better and expressing an understanding of Marcuse""s theory in politics.
