　　In 1987 Li Fanggui and Ke Weinan published this book in Taibei in English and Wang Qilong translated it into Chinese in 2007. Divided into three parts, the book first introduces the language and the historical background of epigraphy during the Tubo period, as well as the history of literary study on epigraphy. In the next part, the authors render readers 14 examples of epigraphic literature, such as the cliff-earring and grotto inscriptions at Dunhunng.Ineluding a brief introduction, selected texts, translations and comments on every individual epigraph, the authors also indicate to readers the year in which every epigraph was produced, its location,state of preservation, the catalog from the previous research program, publication and pictures. Lastly, the authors explain to readers the terminology frequently applied in the book. Qinghua University Press published this book in June of 2007 with the ISBN of 9787302142614.
