The,Great,Wall,,,长城:The Great Wall

　　同学们，这个学期的英语教材上，我们首先接触到的就是长城哦，你到过长城么？你对长城了解多少呢？下面，我们一起学习一些有关长城的知识吧！　　The Great Wall of China is called the "Ten-thousand-Ii Great Wall" in Chinese. In fact, it""s more than 6700 kilometers long across the northern part of China. It winds its way from west to east, across deserts, over mountains, through valleys till at last it reaches the sea. And five horses or ten men can walk side by side on the the Great Wall. It is one of the wonders of the world.
　　The Great Wall has a long history over twenty centuries. It was built in Qin Dyansty and rebuilt in Ming Dynasty. The purpose of building the Great wall was keeping the enemies off.
　　Nowdays in my opinion the Great Wall has become a place of interest not only to the Chinese but to people from all over the world. Many of them have come to know the famous Chinese saying: "He who does not reach the Great Wall is not a true man."
　　我爱长城
　　中国的长城被称为“万里长城”。事实上,它的长超过6700公里，位于中国的北方。它自西向东蜿蜒迂回,越过沙漠,跨过高山,穿过深谷,最后直达海边。五匹马或十个人并排可在长城上走。这是世界的奇迹之一。
　　长城有着两千多年的悠久历史。它建于秦朝，重修于明代。建立长城的目的是为了防止敌人入侵。
　　现在在我看来，长城已成为一个名胜古迹，它吸引的不仅是中国人而且还有来自世界各地的人们。他们中的许多人都知道中国的一句名言: “不到长城非好汉。”
