九年级英语作文期末复习

1.How to learn English well

English is important and useful to us. How can we learn it well? Here are my suggestions.

First of all , we should often listen to the tapes, English songs and programs. Watching English movies is also helpful to us. Second, we should speak English as much as possible. Don’t be afraid of making mistakes. The more you speak, the fewer mistakes you’ll make. We"d better join the English club and practice with others. Third, we can read more English newspapers and magazines. It’s good for us.

In a word, as long as we do more listening, speaking, reading and writing, we will learn English well.

2. Spring Festival

The Spring Festival is one of the most important traditional festivals in China . It is the time for family members to get together. We are all happy on that day.

On New Year’s eve, the whole family are sitting together,having dumplings and watching TV. When the Spring Festival comes at mid-night, all the people are happy and say “Happy the Spring Festival” to each other .Children receive lucky money from parents. On the first day of new year,all the people,old and young,put on new clothes,visit their friends and relatives, and wish each other good luck in the new year.

What a good time Chinese people have during the Spring Festival !

3.Changes in my life

My life has changed a lot in the past few years.

I used to be short when I was younger, but now I’m much taller. I used to spend a lot of time playing sports ,but now I stay at home and do homework. In the past, I watched TV at night ,but now I am often busy preparing for tests.I used to read a lot of cartoon books .but now I have to read textbooks.I really miss the old days.

However,I have understood a lot.I do my homework all by myself.I didn’t study hard but now I do and make great progress.I didn’t get on well with my classmates but we can get on well at present. In words,there are so many changes in my life .

4.How to protect our environment

The environmental pollution is worse and worse today. So we have to know how to protect the environment.Here are some ways.

First,we can stop driving our personal cars.We can go to school or work on foot or by bus.Not only can it protect environment,but also it is good for our health.Second,we are not supposed to drop litter anywhere,we should put them into the trash bin.And it’s best to pick up the litter on the ground when we see them.Third,we should save the paper,the water,the food and so on.Fourth,we should protect the trees and we should plant more trees.

I think if everyone does something to protect the environment,our world will become more and more beautiful.

5.Thank you , my dear teacher

I have been studied in middle school for three years.In few days,I will graduate.My favorite

teacher is my English teacher.I thank her very much.

My English teacher is a beautiful woman.She is kind but strict.She is also humorous.She is popular with us.Her class is very interesting and active. In the past my English was poor,and I failed exam.She did not blame me.She help me with my English after class.She always patient when I ask her some question. Little by little, I’ve become interested in English and I’m good at it. I think I am so lucky to become one of her students. I’ve learned a lot from her.

I would like to thank you for all the help you gave me during this term.I hope you will be better and better.Thank you,my dear teacher,I will never forget you.

6. I love music

I really love music because it can not only make us relaxed but also express our feeling about everything.

I usually listen to music in my spare time. When I am stressed out, I often listen to music that the lyrics are full of energy. For example,my favorite band is TF boys . Their songs are very hopeful and remind me never to give up my dream.When I am sad,I will listen to the music,because it can make me fine.When I am happy,I also listen to the music,sometimes I dance with it.

Music is with us all the time. I find great pleasure in music.

7. An unforgettable thing/experience

When I was eight,my father took me to a big lake to row a boat. I was really excited to hear that.

At first, I was so afraid and nervous that I held my father’s hand tightly. Then he told me to keep balance in the boat. What my father said made me relaxed at that time. I slowly tried to row the boat with my father, it was exciting. We had a good time that afternoon.

It was an unforgettable experience in my life, and it reminds me never give up.

8. My school life

How time flies! It has been three years since I came to the school. My school is beautiful and there are many beautiful flowers and trees. The teachers are so kind though there is always too much homework. My classmates are all very friendly to each other. We always help each other. I have learned a lot from them and made a lot of friends. I enjoy my school life. However, I don"t do well in math. I’ll try my best to study math during the summer holidays. Now I"m going to say goodbye to my teachers and classmates. I"ll miss my school life.

How time flies! I have studied in my school for three years. I want to share my happiness and sadness with you. I had so many memories in three years’ life. One of them impressed me very much. I still remember, when I began to learn English, I found it too difficult. No matter how hard I tried, I still couldn’t do well in it and almost gave it up. As soon as my English teacher found my problem, she had a talk with me about how to learn English well. Since then, she has kept helping me. Little by little, I’ve become interested in English and I’m good at it. I think I am so lucky to become one of her students. I’ve learned a lot from her.

Now I"m going to say goodbye to my teachers and classmates. I"ll miss my school life.
