显然，威廉王子和准王妃凯特在举行婚前单身派对时必须保持低调，以免给随时准备出击的狗仔队提供报道素材。在英国，准新娘/新郎的婚前单身派对分别称为hen/stag night 。

文中的hen night就是指女子的婚前单身派对，而stag night就是指男子的婚前单身派对，也可以说成bachelorette/bachelor party，或者hen/stag party。一般在结婚前夕举行，由准新郎和新娘分别邀请同性好友，举办派对庆祝最后的单身时光。
