[高考英语命题的一条“潜规则”]高考英语单词3500快速记忆

　　笔者在《第二课堂》2008年第1期发表的文章《高考英语命题的一个小秘密》，曾引起不少反响！当时我问同学们：“如果我说高考英语命题者有时会直接从英语原版词典上摘录例句来编制考题，你会相信吗？如果我告诉你，有时一套考题会连续从几本词典上“抄”六七个句子来编制考题，你会感到惊奇吗？”当年我们以山东卷为例，指出2007年山东卷在有限的15道单项选择题中，有7道题直接（原封不动地）引自Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English和Cambridge Advanced Learner’s Dictionary这两本英语原版词典。三年多过去了，我们每年都在进行相关的研究，我们发现高考英语命题者从英语原版词典中“摘录”句子来命题已经成了一条“潜规则”。下面是2011年各地考题中的部分实例（限于篇幅，只列举了很少的一部分）。
　　一、 先看看全国卷Ⅰ的情况
　　（1） Try _______ she might， Sue couldn’t get the door open. （2011年全国卷Ⅰ第22题）
　　A. if B. when C. since D. as
　　【考题出处】 Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English的as2词条：Try as she might， Sue couldn’t get the door open.
　　（2） Planning so far ahead _______ no sense—so many things will have changed by next year. （2011年全国卷Ⅰ第23题）
　　A. made B. is making C. makes D. has made
　　【考题出处】 Cambridge Advanced Learner’s Dictionary 的sense词条：Planning so far ahead makes no sense—so many things will have changed by next year.
　　（3） I wasn’t sure if he was really interested or if he _______ polite. （2011年全国卷Ⅰ第24题）
