如何提高课堂提问的有效性 [实施课堂教学新模式,提高英语课堂有效性]
1.指导思想 扎实提高课堂教学有效性已成为当前教育教学改革的重心所在,而要真正提高课堂教学有效性,就必须改变过去那种“教师讲,学生听”的低效率教学模式,转变为真正以学生学为主,教师点拨指导的新型的教学模式。“导学――讨论――点拨――训练”课堂教学模式是近年来老师们在教学实践中总结出的能够提高课堂有效性的新模式,笔者结合英语教学实例对这种教学模式的实际应用进行阐述。�
2.基本概念
一定的教学模式是一定的教学思想和教学理念的体现。课堂教学模式的实施是课堂教学有序化,规范化和相对稳定的重要标志。科学的教学模式将大大提高教学效率,减轻了学习者不必要的负担,提高课堂教学有效性。�
2.1 导学。�
“导学”是指老师在学生复习和预习的基础上明确学习目标,继而指导学生通过自学发现和解决问题。导学要具体明了,掌握不同层次学生的疑难问题并作必要的梳理。导学可借助于图片,知识背景和标题,也可根据学过的内容以差别题型式过渡到新课从而导入本课教学。�
2.2 讨论,点拨。�
“讨论”是指在导学的基础上,由学生和老师自由讨论的形式共同分析和解决问题,引导学生独立思考。在这个环节里,老师要面向全体学生,创设一个民主,平等的氛围,要通过交流达到解决问题和实现教学目标的目的,并抓住机会让学生进行创新思维。�
“点拨”是指老师在学生经过自学和讨论仍不能解决问题或不得要领的情况下所做的点化的指导,既可以是重点的突出,也可以是难点的化解。这一环节要注意使自己的点拨在讨论的间隙中适时适度进行,点拨要起到催化剂和助推器的作用。�
2.3 训练。�
“训练”是指老师指导学生通过当堂作业或小测验等实践操作一类活动来巩固知识,形成能力,从而实现课堂开始时确定的学习目标。在这一环节里老师要注意保证学生有足够的时间当堂独立完成一定数量的作业,练习或小测验,同时要注意训练效果,以便为课后的辅导和进一步的巩固训练打好基础。�
在实施导学――讨论――点拨――训练这四个基本步骤时,老师一定要注意激发全体学生的学习欲望和需求,注意各个环节融为一体,还应注意课前预习和课后辅导紧密相关,将课内外的教学活动形成一个统一的有机体。�
3.课堂教学实例
导学――讨论――点拨――训练四个步骤所用的时间大致相当,各占四分之一,教师也可根据知识类别和教学目标的不同灵活调整。现以SEFC3A,Unit 5,Lesson 19 Advertising(2)为例介绍各个环节的运作情况。�
3.1 导学。�
首先用两个问题让学生回忆上节课所学内容。�
3.1.1 Can you tell me the forms of advertising?�
3.1.2 Who can tell me the process of making ads?�
学生回答完以后,老师顺着学生回答马上转入正题。You have known the forms of ads and how to make ads,but do you know how to make good ads and how to avoid mistakes when making ads? Lesson 19 will tell us something more about ads. Now let"s listen to the tape of Lesson 19.�
这样导入使学生感到,广告不仅仅是已学过的那些知识,还有更为重要的要知道,从而激发了他们的好奇心和想进一步学习的欲望。�
学生听录音的同时,在投影仪上放映出与课文有关的阅读理解题,为下一步的讨论,点拨作准备。�

3.2 讨论,点拨。�
学生看着投映仪上的四个问题开始理解课文,并进行分组讨论,在这个过程里每个学生都有机会发表自己的见解。例如第一题有的同学选B,有的选D,意见不一,可以让他们说出各自的理由,然后进行评判,点拨, 指出正确的答案为A,因为课问文的主题:what makes a good advertisement ? 这使学生们便觉得豁然开朗。顺便要告诉他们做阅读理解时要注意每段开头的主题句。再如第三题,在讨论过程中歧义很大,所以要指出课文中与选项A,B,C不相符的句子,从而确定D为正确答案。�
讨论要热烈,使得每个同学都参与,点拨要及时,使得学生们心服口服,这一环节既锻炼了学生的口语表达能力,又培养了他们的判断能力。由于课文较短,没有新的语言点,所以针对高考题型出了10个单句改错。 �
3.2.1 Prof. Brown knows no less of our city than we do,for he lived here for the past 10 years.�

对于这些改错题也要进行讨论,点拨,这样通过两番讨论,点拨,学生既了解了课文内容又克服了语言障碍,在此基础上,我们变进入了训练阶段。�
3.3 训练。�
本课的训练是在学生了解了广告的形式,如何做广告以及如何避免广告中的错误的前提下进行的,在投影仪上放映几个印有“宁红减肥茶”,“夏士莲洗发露”,冰箱,电脑,小汽车的图片,另外可以准备一些日用品的包装盒,饮料瓶如娃哈哈AD钙奶,黑妹牙膏,大宝SOD密,旺仔牛奶瓶等放在桌上,以便他们随便选择。�
看着图片和一些实物,学生们便分组做广告,他们的想象力得以充分发挥,讨论的极为热烈,最后他们到讲台表演他们所做的广告,使得这节课的教学达到高潮。下面是他们为部分商品所做的广告。�
3.3.1 宁红减肥茶。�
Background:A fat student (A) and a thin student (B) are going to the front of the classroom.A can"t get through because of the projector in the way while B gets through easily.�

3.3.2 夏士连洗发露。�

恰巧这时下课铃响了,本课是在一片欢笑声中结束,这样导学――讨论――点拨――训练得以充分实施。�
总之,导学――讨论――点拨――训练是区别于传统教学的崭新的教学模式,这一教学模式体现了学生的主体地位。这些教学过程基本上是学生视听,思考,判断,操作的尝试和创造过程,学生的听,说,读,写以及综合运用英语的能力得以提高,从而大大提高了课堂教学效果。
